  been reading here for a few years.. 4th gen jw, born and raised, served for a few years which was the catalyst for me.

  the politics, backstabbing, slandering and coercive tactics in particular caused a constant internal struggle.

  i started researching and focused only on the stories of ex-elders/servants to see if i was the only one - i wasn't.. the rest is history..

  one black sister would always slam the jews when there was anything on the radio or tv about the palestinian's.

  i knew others who had other ideas that were strange and not neutral as we were told to be.

  the black sister would dress like she was from africa in a dashiki robe from time to time.

  we will be doing a grave side service tomorrow at 2 pm at mountain view memorial in rainsville.

  To all in the Wills Valley and Little River Congratulations.

  Thelma Gray, our sister .... passed away on Wednesday. We will be doing a grave side service tomorrow at 2 pm at Mountain View Memorial in Rainsville. Wilson Funeral Home in Ft.Payne is doing arrangements.

  Bro. Hamilton will do memorial. Please use safe measures if you come. Face masks and social distancing should be observed. Refrain from hand shakes and hugging. We want all to go away safe and healthy.

  He made not have had the vocabulary down pact or just didn't suck up to the right Elders. I remember one CO saying " if a man didn't ask you what he needed to do to become an Elder, he was interested in serving as one".

  I was heading to bed and noticed it tucked deep in my closet, So I blew the dust off and it made me think, WOW, I really had it going on back in the day.

  There were times I was an "Ass". I actually apologized to several people about my attitude, but I was following the "Company Script".
